SPECIAL COMMITTEES

Click here for a list of all Special Committees for 2006-2007 Budget Committee The Budget Committee is determined by the by-laws of the club. The past president is the chair of the committee with the Treasurer, Associate President and past Treasurer serving. The committee determines the budget for the upcoming year and presents it to the membership for approval. COMMUNICATIONS Newsletter Responsible for the development and distribution of the WWC Newsletter APROPOS. Contact: Mariann Bigelow Publicity This committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining a relationship with the local news media.  They gather pictures and information from the various committees and activity groups and gets them to the papers. Contact: Patti Wrobel Programs This committee researches and then develops the programs that are provided at the general meetings. They attend the meetings to assist with any guest speakers and provide an introduction. They survey the membership for ideas for topics of interest to the membership for future meetings. The Contact: Dee Dee Fleitz, Julie West. A special committee runs the Gourmet group. Web Site This committee develops and maintains the WWC web site. Contact: Anne Richards Telephone This committee is responsible for calling the membership with important and timely information that must get immediate attention of the club. Contact: Diane Carney, Gale Roeder Yearbook This committee compiles, prints and distributes the annual Yearbook that contains pertinent information about the club, such as the bylaws, membership, and committee assignments.
